Kamal Haasan is my Guru

Kamal Haasan is my Guru.

CHENNAI: Although she might not be happy with the way her Bollywood adventure turned out, Trisha still has a lot to look forward to from her career in South Indian films.

Her upcoming Tamil film is opposite her screen idol Kamal Haasan. The actress is not only excited about her role in ‘Manmadhan Ambu’, but is also mighty pleased with her stage performance with her acclaimed costar. Trisha sang a song and recited poetry on stage with Kamal Haasan.

Referring Kamal Haasan as her guru, Trisha Krishnan says that it was due to the sincere tutoring efforts of Kamal Haasan that she was able to sing and recite so well during the audio launch of ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ in Singapore. ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is a romantic comedy where Trisha Krishnan plays the part of an upcoming actress.

Also in the pipeline for the actress are films such as ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Savithri’ opposite actors Ajith and Venkatesh respectively.

These days, Trisha is more careful with her choice of films and brands to endorse. Having begun her career as a model, she endorses several brands such as Fanta, Scooty Pep+ and Fiama Di Wills. source expressbuzz.com

Hari while speaking about this film said," This is also a village based study. Of all the 10 films I have directed, I carry my camera and run to Karaikkudi.

Cast: Dhanush, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rajkiran, Goundamani, Kalabhavan Mani, Kanja, Karuppu
Director: Hari
Music: Devi Sri Prasad

I will show that place itself as Tirunalveli or Tuticorin. Now that place has become like my native place. The rituals they do during the marriage or child birth and for all the good and bad things are so wonderful. Dhanush has also become as if that place is his native place. For the first time Dhanush is acting in my film.

For a very long time, I like him very much. We cannot say anything about wrong about his acting. I was little scared whether he will suit in this film because he use to act in romantic films directed by his brother. But after seeing Polladhavan and Padikadhavan, I saw his growth. Immediately I felt that I should utilize him. I caught him at the right time. I got hold of him tightly and embraced him.

I am going to take him to my place. So I told him that you will miss your family and children for one month and asked him to pamper his kids. With regard to the heroine Thamanna, I have not told the story to any of my heroines. I will send my assistants to them. But in the case of Thamanna, I sat with her for three hours and narrated the story to her.

I wanted to bring a brave effect to her role who is scared of cockroaches and lizards. I told that how she should transform herself to extend of wielding a sickle. Though she is a Mumbai girl, she understood the role and we will be to extract the work from her."

The aura of Brand Rajni

Imagine this scene: It’s late at night, so late that it’s almost the next day. There is a closed gate, and outside it you could see a never-ending line of people, sitting there, eagerly waiting for the time to tick by and experience.Ask a college kid in USA to guess what that was, and the answer would be: that’s the line for getting the first pieces of Apple IPad.

by Gokul Badrinarayanan / November 25, 2010, 0:19 IST

If you ask the same to a Loyola college guy in Chennai, he would not only say that it’s Endhiran first day first show we are talking about, but would go on to brag how he was there, right at the front of that line.

While Apple is considered the most fanatically followed brand in the world, we do have one right here in India who can give even Apple a run for its money on his day, and that’s Brand Rajni.

Let’s analyse how Brand Rajni stacks up against the other big global brands in communicating with the users. (click to read more)

Kamal said, “I can give my word that talented Malaysians will definitely be featured in my movies.”

Wherever he goes, Kamal Haasan advocates for cinema. And the actor did it once again in Malaysia, by dismissing allegations that excessive violence in Tamil movies is pushing youth towards crime.

The actor, who was in the foreign country recently, told a news agency: “Tamil films are merely mirrors which reflect incidents, occurrences and behavioural patterns of people.”

He was reacting to allegations by some Malaysian political parties and service organisations that violence in Tamil films is pushing ethnic Malaysian Indian youth towards crime.

“Violence is widely reported in the daily life of the people in Tamil Nadu, particularly in the rural areas. We, through the movies, attempt to highlight the social problems which already exist,” he reportedly said.

Saying that he had discussed with Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak during his visit to Tamil Nadu on giving opportunities to talented Malaysians in Kollywood, Kamal said, “I can give my word that talented Malaysians will definitely be featured in my movies.” source IndiaGlitz.com (http://www.indiaglitz.com/channels/tamil/article/61780.html)
